Payout Structure and Schedule

This module defines exactly how much you earn, when you get paid, and how payment is delivered.

Commission rate

20% of net monthly subscription revenue for every month your referral remains on a paid plan.

Net revenue = subscription price after payment processor fees (approximately 3%). Commission rounds to the nearest cent.

When commissions are paid

  1. Referral completes first paid month → commission status: Pending
  2. 30-day chargeback window closes → commission status: Confirmed
  3. 15th of the following month → payment processed via Stripe

Example: Referral pays on March 5. Chargeback window closes April 4. Payment processed April 15.

Payment method

All commissions are paid via Stripe Connect. You must connect a Stripe account in your referral dashboard to receive payments. No other payment methods are supported. No minimum payout threshold — even $5 is paid.

Commission is recurring. You earn 20% every month your referral stays on a paid plan — not just the first month. A single Suite referral who stays 12 months = $3,597.60 to you.
